Ilya is a sophomore at Northeastern University, Pre-Law. He has been dancing for 5 years and trains intensively at Dance Republic Studio/Allston, primarily in International Latin. Ilya has captured many titles, including the Gold Medal in the Championship Latin division at the National Collegiate Championships. Ilya is a member of Boston Youth Moves, an intensive Ballet, Modern, and Jazz program for aspiring youth dancers. Ilya became a Board Member in Sept 08 and already has many new ideas and active plans. He sincerely hopes to make a difference for competitive and social dancing in the youth and collegiate networks. His active participation in these networks lends him the experience and insights needed to make creative improvements that benefit everyone.
